AEET 2025
Taiyuan University of Technology, August 29 to 31, 2025
Conference Review: Organized by Taiyuan University of Technology, the 2025 International Conference on Applied Electrical Engineering and Technology (AEET 2025) was successfully concluded in Taiyuan, China, from August 29 to 31, 2025. We would like to sincerely thank all speakers, authors, session chairs, and participants for their active involvement and strong support, which contributed greatly to the success of the conference.
The conference officially opened on August 30 with the Opening Ceremony addressed by Prof. Yinke Dou, Dean, Taiyuan University of Technology, followed by four keynote speeches delivered by experts from universities, research institutions, and the power industry, they are Prof. Loi Lei Lai (Life Fellow IEEE; Fellow IET, Australia), Prof. Zhaoxia Jing (South China University of Technology), Prof. Jiachen Gao (Hunan University), and Ms. Xueting Cheng (State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Co., Ltd.). The keynote presentations addressed smart energy systems, new-type power system mechanisms, live working technologies for transmission lines, and electricity spot market operation, highlighting both academic advances and industry practices. And the keynote speech session is hosted by Prof. Yixun Xue,Taiyuan University of Technology.
AEET 2025 organized six thematic technical tracks on August 30, covering new power system operation optimization, vehicle-to-grid technologies, low-carbon power systems, inverter-dominated power system analysis, integrated energy distribution systems, and power equipment health management. On August 31, the conference further held three onsite parallel sessions, two poster sessions, and one online session, forming a comprehensive technical program across multiple presentation formats.
Each technical track and session conducted a structured evaluation process, and Best Presentation Awards were selected for every session to recognize outstanding research quality and presentation performance. The award process encouraged active discussion and high-quality academic exchange throughout the conference.
